Disneyland Resort 2008
This was another Christmas time trip to Disneyland Resort December 8th throught the 12th. For the most part we had really nice weather all week. Our grandson really wanted to go back to see Mickey Mouse. We again stayed at the Paradise Pier Hotel. Our grandson had a blast going down to the lobby each morning and talking to his good buddy Santa Claus. The only things he was unhappy about during this trip was that he wasn't picked to fight Darth Vader and he wasn't tall enought to ride Indiana Jones, otherwise he had a blast. His two favorite rides were Buzz Lightyear and Star Tours, so we spent a lot of time going back and forth between those two rides. We all enjoyed Toy Story Mania over in California Adventure, but unfortunately the lines for that ride was alway pretty long so we only went on it few times. He went on the Matterhorn once but he said the Abominable Snowman was too scary so he wouldn't ride it again, he did however enjoy Thunder Mountain. It is so much fun going to Disneyland and seeing it through the eyes of a youngster. It makes you feel young again yourself. Our next trip will probably include both grandkids and hopefully Angel will be tall enough to ride Indiana Jones.
